Nike’s Air Zoom Tiempo has steadily become the fixed-gear biking shoe of choice, as we’ve seen LIVESTRONG and various world class cyclists give it various treatments for the last few months. Journalist, designer, photographer and DJ Henrik Kuerschner, who goes by Artoo, designed this most recent pair, which somehow manages to have a ton of colors and be solid white all at once. Artoo took inspiration from riders leaving their tire marks in the snow, leaving different tracks in various shapes and paths. The upper and sole are actually white, but contrast stitching comes in purple, red, pink, teal, yellow and green. Expect these at 21 Mercer and Nike Berlin later this Fall. How do these stack up to the other Air Zoom Tiempos we’ve seen? Better than the LIVESTRONG x Nike “Mellow Johnny’s” TZs? |
