The hype around recycled materials and story-telling continue to be a strong theme in the sneaker industry. To keep up with the demand for more sustainable sneakers, ASICS is dropping an ASICS Gel-Lyte III crafted from sustainable materials.
The “Rooibos” colorway is designed from recycled textile materials that cover its upper. Its clay-like hue gets its appearance from the use of eco-friendly dyes seen on the toes, tongues, and heels. Finishing details include the signature ASICS tiger stripe on each side, followed by a rubber sole.
