In conjunction with the recent announcement of the Asics GT-II French Blue/White-Red, Asics has also decided to come back with another popular member of their ‘Directional’ line, the Asics Gel Lyte Speed. With Asics already having a reputation for originality in the minds of sneakerheads, it’s nice to see the brand creating new and innovative colorways for wider releases.
Today’s pair, as mentioned above, features the Gel Lyte Speed silhouette. A base of black nylon is complimented with a purple nylon, split tongue, outsole. A final purple splatter effect on the midsole finishes this pair off in fitting fashion. Check out more photos after the jump.
