ASICS Dips the GEL-LYTE V in “Midnight” & “Ivy”

For its latest pack, ASICS looks to the Japanese concept of boro for inspiration. Dubbed the “Modern Patchwork” pack, the range comprises two GEL-LYTE V colorways including this option dipped in “Midnight” and “Navy”.

This ASICS Gel Lyte V “Modern Patchwork” sports a mixed material arrangement informed by boro, which entails mending different textiles together. The green ivy hue covers almost the entirety of the silhouette, while “Midnight” Okayama Demin is used on the overlays and signature profile vector logos.
