Taking inspiration from the old-fashioned denim weaving methods, ASICS has announced the release of the GEL-Lyte III, GEL-Lyte V and GEL-Sight “Made of Japan” collection.
These silhouettes are stitched with similar selvedge looms found in modern day Japanese mills where in the garment process focuses on dyeing techniques and quality of yarn. The shoes are hemmed with a premium finish along the edges, which results in a durable garment construction. Dyed with off-white, black, and indigo washes, each model is also lined with full-grain leather tiger stripes to complete the authentic denim aesthetic.
