ASICS Transforms the Gel Lyte III Into a Hightop

Traditionally, the ASICS Gel Lyte III is a retro runner that broke into the lifestyle market years ago. Now, though, the model is being prepped for winter with a modern adaptation that effectively transforms the shoe into a hightop.

Fittingly titled the ASICS Gel Lyte MT, the shoe features a higher build via a sock-like inner bootie between the split tongue construction. An updated outsole ensures greater traction and durability during outdoor activities of any kind. Moreover, heightened insulation makes for a cozy ride when temperatures drop.
