ASICS’s UB5-S GEL-Nimbus 9 Is Inspired by “Retro Futurism”

Following collaborations with AWAKE NY and NAKED, Kiko Kostadinov and ASICS are now turning their focus back on in-house releases such as this upcoming ASICS UB5-S GEL-Nimbus 9.

Inspired by “Retro Futurism,” this ASICS UB5-S GEL-Nimbus 9 boasts an interstellar colorway comprised of black, greys, and metallic silvers along with hits of teal and purple. A mix of patterned mesh and patent leathers add to the silhouette’s spacey appeal as well as the translucent midsole orbs featured in light blue. Lastly, an iridescent midfoot plate rounds out the final design cues.
