In honor of World Mental Health Day, ASICS brought its “Sound Mind, Sound Body”ethos to life with the “Uplift Experience.” In effort to promote wellbeing, ASICS took over the NXT Museum in Amsterdam for a one-day only pop-up installation.
Visitors were greeted by contemporary dancers as they moved throughout the immersive audio-visual experience. The activation also served as an education hub that demonstrated how movement can increase positive mental health. According to ASICS, it only takes 15.09 minutes for movement to leave you feeling uplifted.
With this in mind, ASICS invited those in attendance to come together on the floor and engage in full-body exercises and stretches guided by a voiceover. Each participant wore a pair of ASICS GEL-1090s to complement the full-body flow.
The show also displayed a collaborative sneaker designed by Danish creative Freja Wewer, which is set for release next month. Wewer’s new ASICS GEL-1090v2 combines sportswear with style and can be trusted to carry you to the “Sound Mind, Sound Body” intention.
