Jordan Brand has revived the Airship in the last few years.

The nearly forgotten silhouette worn by His Airness before the Air Jordan 1 has been the focal point for the brand with in-line colorways as well as collaborations with New York staple Awake NY the latest retailer to spin the model.

Angelo Baque — the Awake founder who spent a decade at Supreme as its Brand Director — is approaching the Airship with a vintage feel as a white upper is met with mismatched red and black through a snakeskin pattern on the collar. Additionally, a silver Swoosh, aged midsole & outsole and Awake’s signature “A” etched onto the lateral sides complete the colorway.

Official release details on the Awake NY x Jordan Airship “University Red” is an AWAKE NY release date of March 9, 2024 followed by a March 13, 2024 Nike release along with select retailers.
