Nike Japan are teaming up with BAIT to drop a special pair of Air Force 1 Lows at Tokyo Comic-Con. Featuring removable Velcro patches, these are sure to have mouth-watering the world over despite being exclusive to the Japanese fair. While this might look like a relatively low-key model, we feel there is huge potential for them.

At first glance this pair is built in classic Air Force 1 Low fashion, with smooth White leather all around. The difference with this model is that each panel is removable, with Velcro backings – something we can’t wait to see customizers take advantage of. The swooshes and heel tabs can be replaced with tasteful marbled wagyu embroidered patches, arriving in special packaging – with chopsticks! Also included in the packaging are glow in the dark patches with BAIT branding, meant for the heel tab, tongue, and swooshes. Black and white dubraes & tongue tags found on the model serve as a standard inclusion along white leather swooshes. Classic Air Force 1 soles serve to support this unique model of AF1, wrapping up this collab characteristically.

We wish we could get our hands on this pair, but we’ll have to settle for window shopping for now. This collaboration looks to be very tasteful and super rare – something sneakerheads & foodies alike can appreciate. Let us know what you think of this upcoming pair, and stay tuned to the latest with Nice Kicks!
