Barneys New York, retail haven for the tastefully inclined, this week continues their successful Sole Series — an ongoing effort focused on sneakers curated by the brands in-house staff. Led by Chris Pepe, Barneys Senior Buyer of Men’s Footwear, the initiatives current course steers towards exclusive Vans Sk8-Hi and Old Skool models.
Consisting of three Old Skool ($140) colorways and a duo of Sk8-Hi ($145) options, each denotes premium leather of the monotone persuasion for nuanced, detail oriented designs. The Sole Series will continue later this month with exclusive Diadora B. Elite styles and on into August with the FILA Original Tennis.
