Next year marks the 25th anniversary of the 1993 produced Air Jordan 9, Michael Jordan‘s first post-retirement sneaker designed by Tinker Hatfield. Jordan had taken up a career in baseball, playing largely in Birmingham, Alabama, with the Barons.
But Michael didn’t solely play in Alabama throughout his entire baseball career, he also spent some time in Scottsdale, Arizona, playing with the Scorpions during the Arizona Fall League back in 1994. During that time Michael wore number 35.
That stint in Arizona has inspired the previously revealed Air Jordan 9 “Glove,” which has yet to be vindicated with a release date. Take a better look shoe below and stay tuned for more.
