As the sneaker industry continues to vouch for custom sneakers, it seem as though two of the more notable entities within the game have teamed up to create the world’s most expensive sneaker. Yes, you read that correctly, the world’s most expensive sneaker.
Featuring the lifestyle brand Bicion and the iconic Mache Customs, the duo have embarked upon creating the most expensive sneaker with the creation of the “The Fire Monkey”. Aligning with the Chinese New Year, this creation utilizes the Li-Ning Way of Wade as a muse. The “The Fire Monkey” silhouette created by Mache, will feature several hundred carats of tailor made white diamond pieces and blue sapphires set in 18k gold, all produced and designed exclusively by Bicion’s in-house jewelry engineers.
In addition, the silhouette employs hues of lucky blue, white, and gold, in connection with a flower motif that boasts a solid gold hang tag with the embossed logos of both Bicion and Mache Customs. Furthermore, the kicks are caged in a custom display case with an 18 karat gold base and LED lighting designed by Looksee Designs™ in collaboration with Bicion.
The sneakers will be unveiled this week and are in conjunction with the Soles4Souls charity.
