Being flexible has its perks, but occasionally it means kicking someone in the face. Chris Paul caught the wrong end of an unexpected play from Tony Allen and his adidas D Rose 4 PE earlier this season. Rather than cry over spilled milk, a negative has been turned into a positive thanks to this holiday charity auction.
Tony Allen has teamed up with Youth Villages as part of the NBA’s Season of Giving Ambassador Program. This game-worn, left shoe has been autographed in an effort to raise $15,000 to buy presents for children in Memphis residential campuses and group homes. “I’m glad that the shoe will be creating something special for kids in Memphis. Everyone deserves to have a Christmas to remember. I’m glad I can be a part of their memories,” Allen said.
