Sneaker fans mark your calendars because Japan’s BLACK COMME des GARÇONS has once again teamed up with Nike to bring back the lauded Eagle model, which hasn’t been reissued since debuting in 1980.

At the time, the lightweight Nike Eagle was conceived for road racing and weighed only 5.1 ounces. This forthcoming collaborative BLACK COMME des GARÇONS x Nike Eagle boasts a stealthy all-black outfit crafted from a mix of leather, suede, and nylon. Elevating the pair are CDG branding on the heels, contrasting white tongue tabs, and co-branding emblazoned insoles. Lastly, a black herringbone midsole underneath completes the overall design.

Look for the BLACK COMME des GARÇONS x Nike Eagle to release on March 18 exclusively at CDG stores in Japan as well as available via Dover Street Market. The pair will retail for ¥28,600 JPY (approximately $240 USD). Keep it locked to our Sneaker Release Dates Calendar for updates.
