As much as sneakers have become the footwear of choice, finer occasions often call for more elevated, dressier pieces. One of those pieces, the Loafer, has stood the test of a time as the go-to sophisticated silhouette. Combining luxury materials with the timeless model, Brooklyn-based footwear label Blackstock and Weber has teamed up with the boys from Throwing Fits (The Only Podcast that Matters) to create “The Only Loafers that Matter”.
Elegant yet rugged, the storm-welted Goodyear construction loafers feature Tuscan suede and polished brass horse-bit from Japan. Green suedes run across the silhouettes’ profile, with a contrasting neutral shade atop the forefoot area. Additional brown suedes contain the luxurious horse-bit piece. Detailing their first foray into Loafers, “B&W” branding is found on the insole. With world-class construction and a UK-based production, it’s clear the damn thing should have a passport.
The Blackstock and Weber x Throwing Fits “The Only Loafers that Matter” is available for limited pre-order right now here for $295 USD. Take a look below and let us know what you think about the non-sneaker silhouette on social media.
