After releasing a collaborative AB Gazelle Indoor earlier this year, adidas Skateboarding and London-based creative Blondey McCoy continue their lauded partnership with a brand-new silhouette dubbed the Blondey Pro Model.
The Blondey McCoy x adidas Blondey Pro Model is an homage to the rider’s longstanding a?nity for the timeless Superstar. Arriving in two colorways of “White/Black” and “Night Indigo”, each pair is crafted from transparent TPU material adorned with synthetic golden Three Stripes and the iconic shell toe. The former opts for contrasting black accents while the latter boasts golden branding. Each colorway is finished off with custom Blondey sockliner art.
On the latest collaboration, Pro team rider Blondey shared:
“Making your own stuff from scratch is one thing. But being trusted with another brand’s DNA, to build on a tried-and-tested formula, to pen a chapter or even a paragraph in a book like this–it’s a great responsibility. And with great responsibility comes great excitement!”
Interested fans will be able to purchase the Blondey McCoy x adidas Blondey Pro Model in “Night Indigo” when it releases on August 5 exclusively via thamesmmxx.com and on adidas’ CONFIRMED app for $130. The “White/Black” colorway will release on August 25 via www.adidas.com/skateboarding and in select specialty skate retailers. Each pair will retail for $130.
