Ok, we admit it. Most of us weren’t ready for the adidas Kobe 1 when they first retroed in 2006. Then again, most of us weren’t ready for the Penny 1 when they first came back in ’00– or the Air Jordan 5 in ’99 for that matter. Time, variety, and a Kicks On Court sighting has these space boot sneakers looking good again. No, these aren’t going to look great with skinny jeans or even camo cargos, but maybe with basketball shorts? Like, on a basketball court? Of course these don’t have to be restricted to the hoop game, as they always looked awesome with leather racing gear, too. We just need some variety. Bring ‘em back!
