Everybody was excited for the Air Jordan 13s to return in 2004. At only six years since their initial release, the model was familiar to the whole market and still loaded with both shoe store and hardwood nostalgia. Leading off with the “Wheats,” though? Not necessarily a popular pick. Between being a non-OG colorway and leaning very lifestyle at that, the “Wheats” went against the grain and weren’t for everybody. Almost nine years later with the launch of the “Hazelnut” LeBron Xs and Timberlands trending once again, the “Wheat” 13s are looking pretty good and we’re feeling pretty silly for passing on them. Let’s give these another go, JB. Bring ‘em back!
