This weekend, the Nike Air Foamposite One “Safari” was teased to mixed responses. Roughly a decade ago, the atmos x Nike Air Max 1 B “Safari” released to rave reviews, with the only negative feedback coming from lack of availability. Sporting the pebbled print years after its launch but years before it was the norm, this atmos collab packed just the right balance of nostalgia, color and craftsmanship. An orange upper was reminiscent but not reliant on the OG Safari scheme, while a mix of premium materials set the standard for what a boutique exclusive should be. Meshing models but appearing anything but hybrid, the atmos x Nike Air Max 1 B “Safari” still looks fresh yet classic, colorful while casual. Can we get another shot at these? We sure hope so. Bring ’em back!
