White upper, black patent leather, revolutionary cushioning, and the endorsement of a high flyer. We can only be talking about one shoe: the Nike Shox BB4. Ok, maybe there?s another shoe that fits that description, but we?re already getting those back. Before T. Dot belonged to Drake, Vince Carter held the title as the city?s biggest international celeb, slamming down dunks and rocking space age sneakers. The BB4 saw Shox technology skyrocket in popularity driving Nike?s marquee models for the heavier part of a decade. Of all the releases, the White/Black makeup was most beloved. The colorway came almost a year after the original launch, giving the consumer familiarity with the progressive model and the return of tasteful patent leather. Low-key releases with odd availability kept too-soon retros from shining, but the ?Patents? are prime now. Bring the boing, Nike. Bring ?em back!
