Artist Ben Smith of Brush Footwear has teamed up with the Max Talbot Foundation and the Pittsburgh Kids Foundation for a truly unique donation project for Haiti. So far 1.500 canvas sneakers have been donated by Smith, but the project has just gotten bigger. Fusing traditional art and fashion, Smith, kids from the foundation, and even members of the Pittsburgh Penguins have hand painted shoes for auction and for sale to raise money.
