After releasing at its Michigan creators’ shop only a couple of weeks ago, the Burn Rubber x New Balance 577 is now making a widespread showing. Inspired by the great Joe Louis and his Detroit boxing roots, this latest joint project from BR and NB truly tells a story. When Louis was a kid, he would hide his secretly acquired boxing gloves in the violin case that his Mother bought him for his instructed music lessons. Paying tribute to the legend, Burn Rubber’s newest New Balance is styled in violin case black and boxing glove brown, with a gum sole and a name tag dubray.
