Caitlin Clark continues incorporating the Mamba Mentality into her rookie season as the Indiana Fever guard debuted a black and green Nike Kobe 6 Protro.

The Nike Kobe 6 is a fan-favorite basketball shoe that debuted in 2010. Known for its snake-inspired details, the shoe quickly became a staple both on and off the court. The upper features a polyurethane “scaly” texture, paying homage to Bryant’s “Black Mamba” persona, while the low-cut silhouette offers enhanced mobility. Nike’s Zoom Air cushioning delivers responsiveness, making the Kobe 6 ideal for fast, agile players.

The shoe has seen multiple colorway releases, including the iconic “Grinch” and Protro editions, which update the original design with modern performance enhancements.

As the Mamba legacy continues, Clark is carrying the momentum within the W.

The latest Kobe 6 follows a series of PEs debuted by Clark following the debut of the “WNBA All-Star” Nike Kobe 6 Protro and the Fever-themed Nike Kobe 5 Protro colorway.

Utilizing the signature reptilian-like textured pattern of the upper, the Kobe 6 PE features a black-blue-green gradient finish with a vibrant yellow Swoosh. The midsole, heel counter, and outsole feature a pastel green look for the perfect contrasting finish.

We don’t anticipate the pair to release anytime soon. But, if the sneaker gods are listening, a release on these wouldn’t upset anyone.
