Is the secondary market for sneakers still growing? According to Campless, it’s growing like crazy. Claiming that the “Galaxy” Foamposites changed the game, the sneaker data analysts began tracking the market for reselling shoes on eBay in 2012, and now for the 2014-15 season, they are predicting another large increase. After $218 million worth of aftermarket sneakers were reportedly sold from May ’13 to May ’14, the market contributed another $309 million this past year. Campless is predicting that number to skyrocket again to $456 million in the next calendar year. Do you think the growth will be that significant?
