While Jason Kidd would lead the Suns to the playoffs in each of his season in Phoenix, Kidd became an official title contender and MVP candidate in New Jersey. Over the course of his Nets years, Kidd improved his scoring numbers and kept the dishes coming. Playing alongside the likes of Richard Jefferson, Vince Carter, and Kenyon Martin made for plenty of highlight reel alley-oops on Sportscenter.

Kidd became one of the first players to return to an old signature shoe during his Jersey days. PE colorways of the Nike Zoom Flight V were in regular rotation, taking on his new team colors. Swoosh shoes aside, J-Kidd became an ambassador for Jordan Brand. The Jordan Team Flow was a favorite, as were PE versions of the Air Jordan 13.
