In Fall, DC will continue its work with SSUR in the form of this upcoming 2-shoe release. Caviar Cartel is also involved in this most recent addition to the Artist Series.
Spotted at the Project/Magic trade show going on now, both high tops use an all nubuck construction. The black pair relies on a white outsole and laces, as well as a red liner, for contrast. The other shoe relies on red for its upper and gets a black outsole. Grey touches are added on the laces and tongue. Finally, “Caviar” and “Cartel” appear on the heel areas of the lateral and medial sides, respectively. The red represents the Soviet Russian heritage of artist SSUR, while the black represents the black market trade of caviar. Look for both shoes later this year.
