Charlotte Cummings, a vintage sneaker collector and Jordan Brand purist, had been collecting Air Jordans since 1985 before her recent passing. She was one of the few women in sneaker culture with a collection that rivals, and in many cases surpasses, anything you’ve ever seen by a man or anyone with reasonable resources and accessibility.

Survived by her husband, Robin, who helped co-own and operate an athletic store with Charlotte through the 1980’s and 90’s, he has displayed her storied collection of vintage Jordans to honor his wife and her love for sneakers.

Now on display in a museum-like setting at Wallace State Community College in Alabama, her rare collection of Air Jordans and memorabilia is a monument to commitment and passion. Robin has continued to add to Charlotte’s collection in the time following her death, all of which is on display at the school until March 15. See for yourself below.
