The Nike LunarEpic Flyknit that’s in stores was originally a bit different. A sample pair unearthed today proves that the retail version isn’t the only pair Nike created.

This earlier model is based largely on the emphasis of midsole distinction. The outsole is produced without what was thought to be customary laser-siped piston arrangements, while the midsole is much wider and far more aggressive than that of the generally released pairs.
