An icon of the past with a name as grandiose as its style back in early 80’s, the Big Nike Low is set to return later this month.
First noted back in 1984 on the feet of the towering 7’7″ Manute Bol, the time-honored basketball sneaker was true to its name thanks to its oversized “NIKE” branding at the heel.
The style took design cues from other Swoosh classics, constructed upon the same midsole and outsole tooling as both the Nike Dunk and Air Jordan 1, respectively.
The Big Nike Low returns in white/red and white/grey original colorways at select retailers like size? next week.
