Last night’s kickoff to the Sweet 16 didn’t disappoint, keeping the music playing for this year’s Cinderella story and featuring fierce battles between top seeds with top-shelf footwork. Unfortunately for sneaker enthusiasts, the 2014 College Kicks On Court team champion San Diego State University saw their season come to a close. Rarely rocked retros were worn across the entire roster, as SDSU’s regulars brought out everything from the Air Jordan 6 Black/Infrared, to the Air Jordan XX QS. In the other three games, Dayton took care of Stanford in their team-issued models and the “Liger” KD VI, Wisconsin tamed Baylor in the latest from adidas Basketball, and Florida pushed on over UCLA in a slew of Nike silhouettes.
