San Diego State is making noise on both the style and performance fronts this season. The Aztecs went on the road to Allen Fieldhouse and came out victorious, snapping Kansas’ 68 game non-conference home winning streak. SDSU has been climbing the NCAA rankings, and now they already have a signature win to go along with their top honor in our College Kicks On Court Semester Review. As expected, San Diego State took care of the Jayhawks on national TV in a wide array of notable sneakers. From Winston Shepard wearing two different Air Jordan 11s, to multiple other rare Jordans and Nike Basketball silhouettes, the Aztecs matched their play with their footwear. Although SDSU stole the spotlight over the weekend, teams across the entire country also heated up the court with a wide variety of makes and models, including Duke’s Tyler Thornton who came out of hiatus to make a bold sneaker statement.
