Flashing back to his freshman year, Shabazz Napier returned to his winning ways over the weekend by leading his UConn Huskies to the 2K Sports Classic championship at MSG. Many will recall that Napier assisted Kemba Walker in his first year, helping lead Connecticut to the 2011 National Championship. The point guard took over this tournament, which benefits the Wounded Warrior Project, in the Air Jordan 11 “Gamma Blue” and a black Nike KD VI iD. Number one Michigan State took home the Coaches vs. Cancer Classic crown in their Nike PEs, and North Carolina took out Louisville in their “UNC” Jordans. The weekend’s champions weren’t the only ones that laced up exclusive sneakers around the country, as a wide array of D Rose adidas and Jordan retros saw action.
