Our?College Kicks On Court installments have shined a light on the immense heat that college basketball players have to offer in terms of on-court sneaker rotations. The amateur ballers hold their own, even against the professionals. As the first semester has wrapped, and winter break commences, we decided to take a look at the work put in by each team, and assign them a letter grade. Though some teams, such as University of Central Florida, East Tennessee State University, and University of Notre Dame women, have shown flashes of greatness, it takes a consistent effort to make it to the top of the class. Missouri Tigers
Semester Grade: C
Mizzou is quietly having a great season. They have also rocked impressive kicks in the first semester. Their black and gold team colors lends themselves well to the Nike Basketball “Elite” Collection. However, Jordan Brand has made them a top ten College Kicks On Court squad with Laurence Bowers sporting the Air Jordan 6 “GMP,” and a multitude of Jordan CP3.VIs in team colors. A secret weapon popped up when Tony Criswell wore the rarely seen Nike Air Max Sweep Thru. The diversity of kicks makes the Tigers a team worth looking for next semester.
