North Carolina has long been Jordan Brand‘s premier college team for obvious reasons. Michael Jordan‘s alma mater has been the collegiate ambassador for the brand since day one, as well as the beneficiary of numerous exclusive products and sneaker debuts, but Tar Heel blue has been quiet as of late. UNC got back to their old sole roots over the weekend in exclusive PEs for their big win against Kentucky. The Dean Smith Center was blanketed in white and the recently hot Tar Heels followed the theme with their sneakers, lacing up Jordan “Whiteout” PEs. Elsewhere, Arizona held onto their number one spot in NIKEiDs, while Louisville was dominant in adidas Basketball models. A wide array of retro Air Jordan and various Under Armour silhouettes were also on full display over the weekend in what was a full slate of college basketball.
