Personal Favorite: Nike KD IV “Aunt Pearl” (2011)
“Like I said, the “White Cement” Air Jordan 4s are my favorite, but the Nike KD IV “Aunt Pearl” is a shoe that just means more to me than just a sneaker. In 2003, my Mother passed away from Breast Cancer. I was very close with my Mom and it hit me really hard. When I saw these KD 4 Aunt Pearls, it was the first Breast Cancer shoe that I had seen that I loved, and to know that I can have a sneaker that represents the fight against breast cancer is such a good feeling. Ever since then, I’ve bought all of the breast cancer/pink sneakers I could find.”
