Oldest Pair: adidas Stan Smith

“The Stan Smith is definitely one of the oldest shoes in my collection, in the sense that it has been around since 1971. This classic look started on the Tennis Court, but really took a leap forward when people began to wear it off the court. Due to its availability, I haven’t worn my Stans too often, but after its recent re-lease, I plan on picking up a few more styles like this recent Bedwin collection this spring. This 1 of 500 Stan Smith watch just bolsters my Stan collection. One of my shoe dreams is to get my face on a Stan Smith. If I were trying to get technical about which shoe in my collection is the oldest, I would highlight a track spike worn in the Olympics during the 1960’s that I have at work.”
