Community Collections starts May the right way with a sneaker stash from Nice Kicks’ backyard. Stationed in Austin and one of NK’s biggest supporters, Eric Howard has constructed his collection around the greatest of all time. Despite losing a large chunk of his inventory when his home was broken into, Howard has rebuilt and reloaded his stock, starting with the same exact Air jordan 11 Low that originally got him hooked.
Read through the feature to hear Eric’s sneaker story, and see some of his personal favorites including his Most Rare Pair and Most Frequent Wear. Drop a line with your feedback in the comment section at the bottom of the page, and keep Nice Kicks bookmarked for everything sneakers.

Sneaker Story:
“To be honest, I can’t really say what got me into shoes. I started collecting before it was the cool thing to do, so none of my friends were really into it. Over time, however, I have formed friendships with lots of people in the sneaker community by attending events and networking on social media. My collection is definitely Jordan-themed. He is my all-time favorite player, and I have always been a big fan of his shoe styles. Recently, I have branched out and copped some Kobes and Lebrons, but the majority of collection is still Jordan. At one time, I had over 100 pairs, but over the last two years I have really downsized my collection. My current lifestyle does not allow me to wear sneakers as often as I would like, so when I do get the opportunity, I make sure to take full advantage.”
