Collection Starter: Air Jordan 11 “Space Jam” (2009)
“I grew up on the movie Space Jam (still a top 5 movie of all time). Christmas 1996 was the best Christmas ever, looking back at the old pictures I don’t think my brother or I had one present that wasn’t related to Space Jam. Then the “Space Jam” 11’s were retroed while I was in high school. I gathered up enough money, then went to camp and sprinted through the mall. I had a respectable little collection before that, but the whole experience and feeling of buying such a great and meaningful shoe got me hooked.”
