Oldest Pair: Reebok Question “Pearlized Red Toes” (1996)
“When I first started getting hot and heavy with my Iverson collection, without a doubt my holy grail was an original pair of the “Pearlized” Reebok Question from ’96. The way the rubber sole came all the way up to the top of the toes, and quality can’t be matched with the retros. I found this pair in DS condition not too long ago, never worn or anything. Price wasn’t going to be a factor for these, but luckily I found them on eBay for less than half of what I was willing to pay for them anyway. I have since worn them once inside the house, just to say I wore them, but I’m a little weary to wear them in public since that first time I wore them and the insoles started coming apart a tad bit.”
