Collection Summary

“My first encounter with New Balance was in Hong Kong, the summer of 1996. In the movie “100% Feel”, Eric Kot wore NBs and Esprit casual wear. He looked so trendy. I then saw my neighbor had a pair of red NBs, and I found out that it was a product of Japan. A pair of 576, made in USA, was too costly. I started to purchase 576, 577, 996, 1300, 1400, 1500, etc. I post pictures on the web to share my enjoyment as well as my proud collection. I used to be addicted to New Balance, because of the materials and designs that are extraordinary and comfortable. Yet, I have lost interest slightly in these last few years, because New Balance now is overpopulated and overpriced. Nowadays, you can see many people wearing NB on the streets of Hong Kong, and the market price has increased almost every season. Fortunately, the material quality is still acceptable! But as a New Balance lover, I believe the Flimby Factory could spend more time improving the shape, especially the toe box. Do something, PLEASE!”
