Collection Summary

“I have always been into shoes, since I was a child. I never really had any fancy Nikes, Reeboks, Jordans, etc. like many other kids, but growing up I wore L.A. Gears; the shoes that light up every time you would step. Fast forward to the year 1999-2000, I would always buy random Nikes that I thought were dope to me. I didn’t care about the specific model, if they look tight to me, I would want them. It wasn’t until 2003, in my freshman year in high school, that my classmate was wearing Nike Dunks. The first time I saw them, I thought they were the dopest looking sneakers I had ever seen before!

They looked so simple yet so clean, with how they used a three-color combo. My classmate told me that they were $65, and I could buy them at my local mall. After that day, I saved enough lunch money and whatever money I made to get the same shoes my classmate had. Two weeks later, I finally got the same colorway my classmate had on. That was 10 years ago. Fast forward 10 years later, I still have those same shoes with original everything. The name “dunksrnice” is pretty self explanatory. A lot of Nike Dunks in their earlier years were very simple, but nice, hence the nickname. I personally don’t have a theme, nor do I consider certain shoes or my collection “Heat”. I simply buy what I like.”
