It ain’t easy being cheesy, word to Terry Crews in The Longest Yard and this writer in general. Denoting the dairy and calling out the concessions stand is the adidas Crossknit Boost “Pimento” inspired by the very rare but very iconic pimento cheese sandwich served at Augusta National.
Made for the links but wearable casually thanks to the nubbed gum sole, this clean colorway bares a bread inspired white CIRCLEknit upper (an impressive alternative to Primeknit that hopefully makes it off the golf course) with graphic lining paying homage to the $1.50 sandwich. Not a bad deal at all on the sandwich, with the specially packaged shoe running a slightly steeper $180.
Technically speaking, the CIRCLEknit upper is designed for breathability and stretchability (Editor’s Note: Worn these, they’re good) and the same Boost last the famed Ultra Boost was built off.
Limited edition in production scale, look for these spicy shoes to launch on April 3rd online at adidas Golf.
