Converse has engineered a performance shoe built for the NBA’s elite talent. The Converse All-Star BB Prototype CX “Vegas Nights” debuts just in time for tip-off.

This release is Converse’s first performance shoe built for the hardwood infused with CX technology. The CX tech is a revamped lockdown system with upgraded traction, meeting the needs of the game’s top performers. Specifically, this sneaker was designed to fill a void between big men who possess the talents of the league’s top PGs and SGs.

One of the key innovations are its new lockdown system that instantly gives a secure feel with higher sidewalls assisting and preventing players from rolling off the midsole when cutting. The reduced weight helps the athlete stay in the game longer thanks to is hidden webbing system that supports containment while offering a snug fit.

The Converse All-Star BB Prototype CX “Vegas Nights” releases on September 13 at Converse.com and select retailers for $120. Until then, take a look at the images below and hit up our Sneaker Release Page.
