Converse is on a heater as of late largely due to the mounting success of their One Star silhouette. Aside from that, though, the Chuck Taylor 1970s has been their most consistent shoe in terms of covet-ability. That trend continues with an upcoming release this weekend.
Releasing in both Hi and Ox form, premium construction blankets the retro-fitted silo which comes completely blacked-out. Well, almost, as the eyelets feature a silver shine. The Converse Chuck Taylor 1970s “Triple Black” is due at select retailers in Asia on July 21. A US release on Nike.com is reported to be coming soon.
