Having an affiliation with Nike has been great for Converse. Among the many reasons, this one may be small in the grand scheme yet proves effective in this particular instance. Following the recent unveiling of their Chuck Taylor All Star II, they can now incorporate a Swoosh signature color like “Volt” to their newly released staple shoe.

The Converse Chuck Taylor II “Vibrant Volt” boldly inches ahead with Nike’s Lunarlon resting within the shoe’s sole unit, while a padded collar and perforated micro suede liner aid in the shoes new luxe positioning. The rubber toe cap and matching midsole are the only components of the shoe sans Volt, which adds balance to the aptly titled “Vibrant Volt” style.
