At the beginning of 2010, Converse unveiled their plans to launch the First String program, which is its top tier label. Of course, the Chuck Taylor was one of its first releases, dropping in two chambray builds of black and blue. To complete the trifecta, this purple pair has begun to hit select retailers.
Lavender chambray is used for the upper, and accents include metal eyelets, white contrast stitching and an extra tall rubber sole. The last feature serves to support the lightweight chambray.
