Outside of the original Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star that Wilt Chamberlain dropped 100 in, Larry Johnson’s Aero Jam “Home” is arguably the brand’s most iconic basketball sneaker. Fueled by the famous “Grandmama” marketing campaign, the bold silhouette features a distinct appearance that can’t be missed. Oversized tongues, removable and reversible lace shrouds, and complex color blocking make it a unique model that is memorable by many. The classic “Home” style code sets the shoe in Charlotte Hornets hues, with a white base and black shroud, accented by teal and purple. Interpreting the velcro straps and Converse’s React cushioning from its original 1993 release, these classics will make a return this year for All-Star Weekend at Converse and at Foot Locker family stores. Mark your calendars for the February 14th release date, and give us your feedback on the OG Aero Jam retro in the comment box.
