Converse Roswell Rayguns Pro Leather & Chuck 70 Pack

Converse is set to join the Roswell Rayguns family with a 2-pack release featuring a Chuck 70 & Pro Leather. The Rayguns, the standout fictional basketball team, have seen a wide host of Nike releases, from Dunks to Air Forces. Now, Converse stakes their claim as the original basketball sneaker with a retro-feeling collaboration with the iconic series.

Arriving in classic contrasting White & Black editions, this pack contains two models – the Chuck 70 & the Pro Leather. The White Chuck 70 comes dressed in a classy White premium leather to elevate the shoe, typically canvas. A Black piping decorated the panels of the uppers, which include the Rayguns’ alien insignia on the inner midfoot. On the outer midfoot, a Converse & Rayguns mashup patch comes shooting out of a Raygun found on the midsole. The midsole & outsole are mainly cream, though there is a double layered paneling dual-toned in orange and yellow along the forefoot.

In comparison, the Pro Leather Hi upper comes tinted in an all-round slick Black premium leather. Along the outer side we find University Gold branding for Converse, complimented by a Rayguns alien mascot on the heel. The inner side features a dual-toned Orange & Gold stripe, running through Black Converse branding. A cream sole sits comfortably under the luxe uppers, housing OrthoLite cushioning. Along the heels panel is branding for the team, as well as on the insole of each model.

The shoes will drop on the Converse website on January 15^th, 2021 for $85 and $95 respectively. While they may not be the most hyped of the Roswell Raygun family, this pairing was seemingly inevitable. We know that we’ll be looking forward to seeing them on feet in the near future!
