Nike got the sports sole-turned-vulcanized movement moving with its AC series, and it looks like little brother Converse was on the same track when they whipped up these Wade 1.0 samples. Donning a greyscale colorway, these sit on a white vulcanized sole. Red is used as an accent throughout, appearing on the liner and the slats in between color panels along the side and for contrast stitching. Wade’s Converse logo appears on the tongues, which are mismatched at this point in the design process.
